A story of a young Pharaoh with an appetite fit for a king!..or well…Pharaoh. Join him on in his quests of hunger!
These are some older animations of mine in which I wanted to test out some basic concepts of animation like camera movement, parallaxing, and subject placing. For reference on Egypt and the Northeastern African landscape I drew from one of my favorite films The Prince of Egypt, and many documentaries centered on that region.

The first of this block of ideas. This fully animated short story is one of understanding greed and how everything doesn’t last. For this, I won a Blue Spark Award in Animation.

As a fan of sequels and how logotypes change with them, I had an idea for a follow-up. With Anubis being my favorite of the Egyptian deities, I wanted our titular Pharaoh to have some interactions with him. It was around fall when I first came up with the idea so drawing from Halloween, I came up with the concept of what would happen if our Pharaoh tried to find some ancient recipe in Anubis’ sacred tomb? Well, there would be a curse of course!
